Pros and cons of iTorch ( Flashlight ) app for iPhone and iPad
iTorch ( Flashlight ) app good for
This is a very useful app. Ive used it dozens more times than I thought I would, and I love it.
I absolutley love it!! Recently, I was locked in my garage. I couldnt get out... so i shinned the light into the house... my mom saw it... and she came running to let me out. THANK YOU FLASHLIGHT!!!
There are a lot of flashlight apps but this is the best one. Very useful when it comes to running around the woods. So if you ever find yourself in the woods at night youl be safe.
I have used this app for a long time & it is more reliable than a real flashlight. I love it even more w/ the update; it is very useful. Thank you!!
2nd addendum: Wow! New version makes it possible to experience all the variations and Ive learned correct tapping tecnique. This is one beautiful and fun flashlight. Congratulations!
Addendum to note below: Haiwen replied about how to change settings. Potentially very nice, but today, it locked on bonfire and no amount of tapping on the "i" could change to any other light source. Still disappointing.
Bought this product today and all I got was a white screen on my iPhone 3Gs. Cant find any of the enhancements shown in the product listing, such as bonfire, reading lamp, real flame. Asked Haiwen Soft about this, but got no reply. Disappointing.
I love the flashlight I use it to find my keys and to unlock the door at night. It has come in handy so many times. We had a power outage recently we used the flashlight feature at my office
Some bad moments
they seem to be catching on...
The new flashlights are great. I was hoping youd come out with some bulb ones.
There is yet one big problem:
You should be able to change the brightness to full inside the app, and after you close, your screens brightness should go back to what it was.
Lets say you have your sceen turned down in the dark, then when you load this app, you find that its too dim, so you flick to turn it up and it only goes just a couple notches brighter and essentially not bright enough.
See what I mean?
Next you may go to the brightness settings and find that the change brightness screen works just as well and can be much much brighter.
Non-illuminating. The pics shown in the app store are brighter than the app itself. Total crap unless ur content just to watch a couple animations.
Maybe Im doing something wrong, but I cant seem to get a bright light from this app. I do better with just any "normal" iPhone screen.
I have other applications that produce more light than this crap. Save your dollar. Buy a regular flashlight
So the bulb is mostly black and the (I) blocks the graphics. Weak.
After I bought it I found out I could get the same app for free. Same quality. Irked at myself.
